International Civil Aviation Day has been celebrated every year on December 7, since 1994, on the day the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was founded. The reason for the celebration of this day was the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, on the basis of which ICAO was organized. The purpose of this holiday is to draw attention to the success of civil aviation.
